“We are currently engaged in Naples, Italy, in the construction of a huge low temperature warehouse (300.000 cubic meters). In Uruguay, we work with the largest banana ripening plant of the country, with 28 ripening rooms. In France, we are working with an important world-class group in the banana business. In Morocco, we’ve just finished with a fish plant and we are starting a new project there for strawberries, and another project in Mayotte Island. Finally, in Austria, we are building ripening rooms for bananas and 10 rooms for mangoes and avocados. In short, our life is not boring at all. After the devastating times of the pandemic, Cold Energy declared themselves again at Fruit Attraction 2021, and soon will participate in another fair in Uzbekistan. “In 2022, we will certainly participate in trade fairs in Russia and other Eastern European countries, and then in North Africa, where we are very active”, continues Castagna.
