The 2nd Global Women's Network event at Fruit Logistica 2020

The 1st Global Women's Network event took place last year at Fruit Logistica. The second will also take place during the fair on February 7th.

 

 

 

The Global Women's Network was created on the initiative of Julie Escobar, Monica Bratuti and Viviane Schappo who decided to come together using their combined experience of 45 years in the fresh produce industry to create an opportunity for women to network and connect.

 

 

 

If other associations organize events for women at conferences, these events are often regional or national in scope, only the Global Women's Network addresses a global discussion. Its mission is to connect, empower and advise women in agricultural businesses, all along the "farm to fork" chain, by focusing discussions on 5 pillars of the industry - food waste and waste, sustainability, social impact, technology and innovation.

 

 

 

This 2nd Global Women's Network event will take place on February 7, 2020. Speakers: Michelle Redfern, Adriëlle Dankier (Nature's Pride / Netherlands), Carolyn Schubert (Global Director Recruiting Company / United States), a representative of the United Nations for 'SheTrades' initiative.
