SIUVA 2012

Peru, one of the largest producers of table grapes in the world, has organised SIUVA 2012 (Simposium Internacional de la Uva de Mesa), the thirteenth edition of this international symposium on table grapes.

It will be held in Lima on 27 and 28 June It will bring together the largest producers and exporters of grapes from Peru and also many international actors. Experts from around the world (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, USA, South Africa, Switzerland) will be involved in discussions.

Among the topics covered are:

- Fight against pests

- Process optimisation of irrigation and fertilisation,

- Maximize the production for export,

- Post-harvest management to maintain quality,

- New varieties.
