Morrisons plans to open 25 new stores and underlines its ambition to grow despite the economic environment.
The fourth largest UK retailer has announced plans to open 25 new stores in the UK and hiring 7,000 additional people.
Nearly 300 new jobs are planned for the new regional distribution center in Bridgwater to service southern and south-west Wales. This extensive project underlines the ambition of Morrison, despite the difficult economic environment. Morrisons is the smallest of the "Big Four" distributors after Tesco, Asda and Sainsbury's.
