Co-op Switzerland to cut 2,000 jobs

Swiss grocer Co-op has said that it will cut 2,000 jobs in 2005. The company said that the job reductions will save it around CHF424 million (EUR 270 million) as it battles to reduce costs as a results of a price war amongst Swiss retailers.
