The AOP France Cherries organizes events and tasting of fruits on the Tour of France in the heart of the production areas.

The passage of the Tour of France is an opportunity to put the cherry on the honor.

The AOP France Cherries organizes several animations on the Tour of France. The cycling race will pass through areas of cherry production, these stages will provide an opportunity spectators and journalists to discover the offer of cherry.

July 14 in Givors, animations and fruit tasting at the start of Tour of France 15th stage (Givors / Mont Ventoux).

July 15 in Vaison-la-Romaine, distribution of fruit and Miss Cherries fashion show, Town Hall Square,

July 16 in Vaison-la-Romaine, animations and fruit tasting on the occasion of the 16th stage start of the Tour of France (Vaison-la-Romaine/Gap).

The AOP France Cherries groupes 8 Producer organizations and federates more than 600 French cherry growers. The AOP represents nearly 55% of national production and plays an active economic role within the industry.
