Current strawberries season is very successful in Moldova

According to Moldavian berries producers, current season is the most prolific one during last several years. Due to the official data, this season croppage 2 times exceeds last year figures. During previous year berries producers managed to crop 0,9 tons / 1 ha, while this year the numbers are expected to reach 1,7 tons / ha mark. At the current moment prices for strawberries verify from 0,8 – 1,0 EURO/kg on fruit market of Moldova.
