Sanjorge reinforces its expansion in Morocco with the hiring of a new business development leader. Omar Taleb, an agronomist with more than 15 years of experience in the sector, will lead the development and expansion of Sanjorge in African lands.

 

The company Técnicas Sanjorge, specialized in clean, sustainable and environmentally friendly agricultural services and solutions, is pleased to announce its arrival in Morocco with the incorporation of Omar Taleb as head of development and commercial expansion. With this measure, Sanjorge begins its expansion phase on the African continent.

 

Morocco, strategically located, will be a boost for TSJ's commercial network, allowing it to offer a more efficient and closer service to its clients. In a world where agriculture is vital for food security and sustainable development, experience and innovation are essential for progress. Agriculture accounts for approximately 14% of Morocco's GDP and employs around 34.56% of the country's workforce, although in recent years there has been a declining trend due to the growth of other sectors such as tourism and trade. Irrigated agriculture occupies only about 14% of the country's cultivated area, but accounts for about 60% of total agricultural production.

 

Omar Taleb has highlighted that, continuing with the group's global expansion strategy, the company's positioning on the African continent is another example of its commitment to excellence in customer service. He added that he is pleased to lead Sanjorge's expansion in Morocco, and that this initiative reflects his commitment to excellence in customer service and his vision of global expansion and collaboration in agriculture.

 

With this opening, TSJ seeks to strengthen its presence in Morocco and its area of influence, by recognizing the growth potential in the region.
