Egypt: areas of 300.000 ha devoted to clean agriculture
Bio products in Egypt are produced in over 85% of all Egyptian governorates and they have been steadily exported to Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Oman, Yemen, Sudan, United Arab Emirates, England, Holland, and Germany.
Currently, the Egyptian companies are conducting commercial negotiations and bilateral cooperation with Cyprus, South Africa, United States, Chile, Australia, Swaziland, Denmark and some Arab countries like Lybia , Morocco, Tunisia , Algeria .
It is worth noting that the local Egyptian authorities have adopted a stricter attitude to limit the increased usage of chemical insecticides, consequently declaring huge areas as Toshka, New valley, and east of Awaynat, extending over 750.000 Feddan (approx 300.000 ha), as areas devoted to clean agriculture.
