Organic agriculture has increased fivefold in 10 years.

This sector has grown remarkably with a certification not only in agricultural production but also other marketing operations, from harvesting to shipping products through the packaging.

It is a growing demand for this type of products that acted on broadening the range of products , quality and quantity. Today the Turkish National Institute Certification declared "organic" 208 agricultural products. Farmers of organic products increased from about 13 000 to 72 000. The cultivated agricultural area , meanwhile, increased from approximately 210,000 hectares to just under 900 000 hectares.

Organic products are also being developed in the area of ??meat, cheese, eggs and honey and seem promoted to a bright future, not only in the domestic market but also for export.
