Bonduelle opens Europe's largest bagged lettuce factory

Bonduelle now accounts for one third of the market share in France, Italy and Germany.
Bonduelle has inaugurated its plant in San Paolo d'Argon, near Bergamo, Italy, the largest European production site of bagged lettuce.
Destroyed by fire in 2008, the factory was rebuilt on the same site and required an investment of 20 million euros. The new plant has a production capacity of 20,000 tonnes per year.
With success throughout Europe, Bonduelle now accounts for one third of the market share in France, Italy and Germany.
