Moldova increases export volumes of apples to Belorussia

Due to embargo on fruits export to Russia, Moldova has significantly increased export volumes of apples to Belorussian fruit market. According to the agricultural specialists, amount of Moldavian apples exported to Belorussia has rocketed up to unexpected figures within last months. Consequently this August volumes 5 times exceed previous period numbers. Based on the recent data, most of fruits imported from Moldova to Belorussia, are usually re-exported to Russian market. By virtue of dramatically increased import of apples from Belorussia, Russia managed to cease fruits prices upturn on the local market. Most of the Russian supermarket chains and wholesale companies back this information.
