Poland is the country honoured at FRESKON 2024

At FRESKON 2024 (11-13 April), Poland will be the honoured country taking part in Pavilion 13 (Stand 37). Poland is a major European producer of fruit and vegetables and a major exporter of fresh fruit and vegetables.

 

Poland holds a leading position in Europe and on the world market in the production of apples, which are the country's flagship export; apples account for 70% of Polish fresh fruit exports. Poland is also the EU leader in the production of button mushrooms. 

 

Poland is the EU's 4th largest producer of fresh vegetables (cabbage, potatoes, carrots, onions). Poland is also a major producer of berries (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries), which are enjoying impressive export success, particularly to other EU Member States.
