Peruvian fresh lime exports registered between January and June 2023 increased in volume but declined in value, if compared to the same lapse in 2022, informs Agrodata Perú.
During the first 6 months of the ongoing year, the country exported 1.800.239 kilos of the fruit, priced at $2.343.438.
In the same term of 2022, Peru shipped 1.497.065 kilos of limes, for a total value of $3.060.278.
The main recipients until June 2023 were the Netherlands (81% of total value), Belgium (10%), and Spain (8%), among other countries.
