INTERNATIONAL ASPARAGUS DAYS is a hyperspecialized world trade show that takes over from an event promoted by Christian Befve in Bordeaux 5 years ago. An event wanted by everyone, since today it is the only one which debate on this culture which therefore arouses great interest at the global level.

The new international event dedicated to the asparagus industry will be held from the 16th to the 18th of October 2018 in the renovated exhibition areas of Cesena Fiera.

INTERNATIONAL ASPARGUS DAYS will have 4 parts. Exhibition: in the pavilions of Cesena Fiera many exhibitors coming from around the world. Conferences / Conferences: in the 3 air-conditioned conference rooms equipped with simultaneous translation, dedicated to agronomic, commercial, strategic and technical aspects. Demonstrations / Field Trials: in an area adjacent to Cesena Fiera. Technical visits: to the main producers of asparagus in Emilia-Romagna.

The initiative of this new event is born thanks to the partnership between Cesena Fiera, organizer of MACFRUT, and Christian Befve, among the greatest experts of asparagus at the world level. Agronomist and commercial advisor to many companies in 30 different countries, Christian Befvese for three decades has become an internationally recognized authority. Luciano Trentini encouraged the meeting between Cesena Fiera and Christian Befve.

INTERNATIONAL ASPARAGUS DAYS is aimed at the whole industry, seed producers, nurseries, producers of machines for working in the fields (transplanters, hiller, etc.), including harvesting machines, but also the producers of technologies for sizing and storage work, packaging, greenhouses for protected crops and services, and even marketers and buyers.
