Kraft foods to cut 6,000 jobs

America's largest foodmaker, Kraft Foods plans to cut 6,000 jobs, 6 percent of its work force, and shut down 20 plants in a three-year restructuring plan.
The news was announced by new CEO Roger Deromedi and comes after 4th quarter earnings dropped by 7 percent and the company warned that 2004 earnings would be lower than expected.
