Strong increase in fruit production

The Polish fruit production has increased by 52,2% in 2001 to 3 410 million tons. Apples, notably, grew by 68% compared to 2000. If it is true Poland is an interesting market with cheap labour, good geographical situation and favourable climate, the channel is still unorganised.
