Olympic fruit acquires stake in Hoofdman-Roodzant

Olympic fruit further expands its fruit import operation by purchsing a share in Hoofdman-Roodzan.
Netherlands-based fruit and vegetable specialist Olympic Fruit has announced that it has acquired a 50 per cent share in Hoofdman-Roodzant, a leading fresh produce importer/exporter.
It is yet further evidence of Olympic Fruit's development in the field of fruit imports, coming soon after a deal with Terra Natura International for Dutch glasshouse vegetables.
A joint statement said: "Both parties consider this participation to be a strategic strengthening of their activities. The joint turnover of Olympic Fruit and Hoofdman-Roodzant amounts to €200m."
