VU
The grape experts of Chile and Peru are set for a historic rendezvous at the inaugural Global Grape Convention 2024. This pioneering gathering aims to foster collaboration, addressing the challenges besetting the global grape sector.
Against the backdrop of climate shifts, the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic, logistical intricacies, and the cultivation of new grape varieties falling short of expectations, Chile and Peru, recognized as global leaders in grape production and export, are joining forces for the first time on August 8, 2024.
The distinguished participants, including the Fruits of Chile Table Grape Committee (formerly ASOEX), the Association of Table Grape Producers of Peru (PROVID), and the Yentzen Group, are poised not only to disseminate unique market insights but also to convene important retailers and importers worldwide. Their mission is to collaboratively navigate solutions and confront the paramount challenge facing grapes globally: the imperative to elevate and diversify consumption.
