The Minister of Agriculture, Stéphane Le Foll, inaugurated the new Savéol Nature breeding .
The commitment to sustainable development by Savéol registers a new momentum with the relocation and expansion of its breeding of insects. The opening of this new site took place on Friday 19 April, in the presence of the Minister of Agriculture, Stéphane Le Foll.
Located in Guipavas (29), the new site of insect breeding of 4,800 square meters required an investment of 2.5 million euros. It will also house a department of research and development and an educational space open to the public.
A pioneer of sustainable agriculture, Savéol has used predatory insects to control pests in its greenhouses for 30 years. This has enabled the company to reduce by 90% the use of pesticides.
