Russian import of grapes from Egypt in 2012 has risen to record highs

Due to results of 2012 year period, Russia has imported around 3 000 tons of grapes from Egypt.

These figures coincide with ones recorded last year. Most of grapes deliveries to Russian market are carried out during summer time. Last year, Russia has imported 7 000 tons of grapes from Egypt, 52 % of fruit were purchased at the beginning of the period, 48 % - during June - July 2012. Therefore final numbers could be summed up only in July 2013.

According to official figures the total amount of imported grapes from Egypt to Russia in 2012 has risen to record highs comparing to the numbers recorded during last 11 years.
