Get acquainted with the innovative add-on for producers’ risk management assessment.
Two retailers, Albert Heijn (AH) and Delhaize (DLL) have developed and launched the AH-DLL GROW add-on.
The product will perfectly match the needs of those who want to cooperate with these retailers.
AH-DLL GROW is an add-on that estimates producers’ risk management concerning hygiene, pesticide residues, as well as foreign bodies or substances.
The module was developed aiming to better meet the rising quality and food safety demands of consumers and is focused on increasing producer awareness on both issues.
The AH-DLL GROW assessment checklist is based on AH Residue Protocol version 2, and possesses a certain number of control points and compliance criteria and can be used together with the GLOBALG.A.P. Integrated Farm Assurance (IFA) inspection or audit.
AH-DLL GROW suits both individual producers and producer groups that supply fresh fruits and vegetables either directly or via their suppliers to Delhaize in Belgium or Albert Heijn in the Netherlands.
How does it work?
AH-DLL GROW Observers (Albert Heijn/Delhaize service providers and employees who will have appropriate access) will be able to monitor your assessment indicators.
These indicators are valid for one year and then will have to be updated, according to the IFA inspection or audit cycle.
The requirements include a checklist for residue monitoring, hygienic working and the prevention of product contamination with foreign bodies or substances. AH-DLL GROW assessment offers an on-site hygiene inspection.
AH-DLL GROW Observers will have appropriate access to AH-DLL GROW add-on information in the GLOBALG.A.P. database, including the assessment results and relevant product or producer statistics and information. All access rules are determined in the general rules specifications of this add-on.
