It is Germany the country's largest importer, whose imports increased by 216 percent compared to the same period in 2015. Russia is in second position, followed by Norway, Sweden and the Netherlands. The Turkish cherries are exported to 37 countries worldwide.
On the other hand, negotiations with China for many agricultural products, including cherries have intensified and the Chinese delegation that visited in May the orchards, packing facilities and cold chain, has gaven a favorable opinion and exporters are eagerly awaiting to start exporting to China.
