CRA to enter mainland China

Convenience Retail Asia of Hong Kong is to enter mainland China with a first store opening in the middle of the year. The group, which operates under the Circle K store banner, is looking to develop 5 to 10 stores in the southern province of Guangdong. At the end of 2001, CRA operated 146 Circle K stores in Hong Kong, with a further 24 planned for this year.
