This year pears harvest is supposed to cut the record in Ukraine

As reported by the local specialists, current pears season is expected to cut the record, set within last 10 years in Ukraine. Due to the latest data, ukrainian farmers will be able to get more than 180 thousands tons of pears this year, this figure 4% exceeds previous season numbers. According to recent survey data, amount of pears harvested last year comprised only 170 thousands tons. At the current moment pears prices verify from 0,25 - 0,52 EURO/kg (11% prices increase comparing to the last year figures) within fruit market of Ukraine, fruits costs depend on variety and quality of purchased pears.
