ZESPRI kiwis arrived in Europe

Leaving early April from New Zealand (our info from 03.31.2015 ) the Zespri kiwis just landed.

The first cargo aboard the ship Elvira just touched the port of Zeebrugge.

Later in the season, regular traffic between New Zealand and Europe will count 30 ships : 20 to the port of Zeebrugge and 10 for the ports of Tarragona and Vado .

According to Zespri , the 2015 generation looks very satisfactory both in volume and quality. Total production of the brand is expected to reach about 70 million trays of green kiwifruit and over 30 million trays of yellow kiwifruit.
