Demand for apples in Russia triggers fruits prices growth in Poland

Based on the recent data, owing to high demand from Russian importers side, apples prices rally within polish fruits market this month. At the current moment costs of unpacked apples soar up to 0,45 – 0,50 USD/kg, these figures are 20% higher comparing to the last week numbers. Prices for packed apples have climbed up to 0,52 USD/kg and keep growing with every day. According to the recent information, Idared apples are top priority fruits for Russian market, which leads to dramatic prices growth for this kind of polish apples. 2d and 3d comes Gloucester and Mutsu apples accordingly. It stands to mention that this year prices for polish apples are 8% higher comparing to the previous season numbers.
