Regio.garantie, the new label to distinguish controlled and certified regional products

The new national quality label that can be used with the regional brand.
The Swiss Association of Regional Products, composed of several organizations (alpinavera, Culinarium, Das Beste der Region, Pays romand - Pays gourmand), launches a national quality label for regional products: regio.garantie.
Neutral and with a combination of words understandable in all languages the new label will bring more clarity to consumers. All products are certified according to the same criteria and follow the same guidelines. An independent certification body verifies compliance with the standards and the right to use the regio.garantie label.
The new label applies to dairy products, meat, but also to the production, processing and marketing of fruits, vegetables, aromatic herbs, potatoes and mushrooms.
