Mercamadrid posts a 8% drop in its February offer

The wholesale market of Madrid (Mercamadrid) recorded a 8% drop in offer of fruit and vegetables in February 2003 to 80 069 tons compared with 86 913 in January. For example, potatoes dropped by 13,08%. The best fruit sales concerned oranges, bananas and apples. As for vegetables, the most marketed ones were tomatoes, lettuce and onions.
