NAM Inauguration in Bologna early April

NAM ( Nuova Area Mercatale ), the new CAAB site , the wholesale market of the city of Bologna, will be officially opened on April 4 in the presence of two ministers Maurizio Martina ( Minister of Agriculture and Forestry) and Gian Luca Galletti (Minister of Environmental Protection , land and sea ) .

NAM houses CAAB offices and Fruits & Vegetables Wholesale businesses. The structure will be fully occupied ( former CAAB was using 60%).

NAM will be the most modern plant in Italy, with the highest seismic resistance standards, energy self -sufficiency (100 000 m2 of solar panels will generate 11 million KWh), LED lighting , equipment optical fiber and WiFi.
