This is it ! After three years of negotiations, Turkey will be able to export its cherries in China.
After many Chinese delegations coming on site to control how the cherries are produced , China agrees to give it a try in 2016 .
Cherry exporters who want to sell their fruits in China will initially enroll in the Exporters ' Union to attend a series of seminars , workshops and educational programs organized jointly by Turkish and Chinese authorities in order to become familiar with export procedures , quarantine requirements and other procedures to know not to make missteps.
The Turkish cherries have already been sold successfully in many European countries, but the Chinese market, the largest in the world, is extremely attractive for Turkish producers.
