Frazer, the new system proposed by the company Turatti to automatically remove the calyx and cut the strawberries .

The company Turatti is pleased to introduce a revolutionary new system for treating automatically fruits and vegetables.

The Frazer capper was developed to remove the strawberry calyx (top green cap with leaves) and if desired cut each strawberry in half if necessary. This system, for which a patent application has been filed, may also be used in the removal of the radishes’ calyx.

This innovative system automates the process, handles gently strawberries and prevents damage to the product. The unit can be integrated into a processing line of strawberries including washing, disinfection and drying.
