Assessment of damages due to earthquake of Saturday are in progress.
Damages due to earthquake in New Zealand are in progress of evaluation.
The earthquake of magnitude 7,1 was centred to approximately 40 km of Christchurch (island of the South).
Lyttelton (Christchurch port) underwent damages. Cost of repairs is in progress of estimation.
However, port authorities declared that it was completely operational. The container terminal was able to resume the exploitation on Sunday.
For the rest of the region, damage concerns especially infrastructures and communications.
Damages on irrigation system and for electricity supply are also indicated.
