Citronex builts a huge greenhouse complex

The total project will include 100 hectares of greenhouses for tomato production.
Polish society Citronex began to develop a huge complex of greenhouses for tomato production. It is planned to realize annually 10 hectares of greenhouses, the project will have a total of 100 hectares and will provide employment for 1,000 people.
Currently, the Company ended the first wafer and the glass is installed.
The complex is located on the German-Polish border, Bogatynia, near the power plant of Turów. Greenhouses will use the waste heat from electricity generation, which will produce all year round tomatoes, and lower cost compared to import products (Morocco, Spain).
Citronex expects a yield of 100 kg tomates/m2/year and a start of production in the coming months.
