Fresh pea export volume increased by 19.4% in 2021

From January to November 2021, Peru exported fresh peas for $35,339,460, which means an increase of 18.9% compared to the $29,731,730 achieved in the same period of 2020, according to Agrodata Peru.
In terms of volume, fresh pea exports in 2021 totaled 10,628,648 kilos, registering an increase of 19.4% compared to the 8,899,733 kilos shipped in the same period of 2020.
It is worth mentioning that in the first quarter of 2021 there were no exports of peas, while in 2020 there were no exports only in January and February.
In 2021, 33% of the product went to the United States ($ 13.5 million), the other 33% went to England ($ 11.6 million), and the rest received other markets such as the Netherlands, Japan, among others.
