The 2011-2012 season has ended and results are satisfactory for both production and sales.
The season has ended for CASI and the results are satisfactory.
For the agricultural cooperative CASI, the 2011-2012 tomato season has ended and the total production reached 225 million kilos. This is a significant improvement over the previous season which had seen a decline in production
of 25 to 30%.
Production is satisfactory and sales exceeded 200 million euros. The president of the cooperative considers that this shows the impetus of the sector with an average price this year of around € 0.68 per kilo.
