2 new apricots varieties

A research institute on the varieties of fruits and diversification in the province of Malatya has announced the registration of two new varieties of apricots.
 

 
Malatya counts now 18 varieties. The two new varieties are Roxana and CASNA Drenova.

 
Originating from Afghanistan, the Roxana apricot is very early. The tree is productive and can better withstand the cold than the ordinary apricot. The Roxana apricots are equally suitable for table consumption and industry of fruit juice. The apricot weighs between 80 and 120 grams, dark orange color. It will be very attractive to consumers.

 
The apricot CASNA Drenova is an early variety from the province of Malatya. The fruit is very juicy with a good flavor .
