First expedition to China of Argentines blueberry

ABC (Argentina Blueberry Committee) announced that China sent its first shipment of blueberries.

The shipment of 12 kilograms of blueberries was made on November 5 with the special permission of the AQSIQ (the Chinese health authority ) for a presentation to the FVF CHINA 2014 fair in Beijing (14-16 November).

ABC participation in this event is one of many actions that have been made this year to promote the opening of the market , scheduled for the end of 2015 .

Total exports of blueberries this year are expected to reach 15,500 tons , which 60% to the United States , 31% in Europe and 4.5 % in Canada. The rest of the destinations including Asia only represent 3.4% of the sales .
