Dubai plays a pivotal role in the Fresh Fruits & Vegetables trade for the whole region (Arab countries, Gulf countries).

The Gulf States import approximately 5 million tonnes of Fresh Fruits & Vegetables annually, Dubai is the hub with more than 40% of all imported goods being re-exported to the other Gulf States. This key role is materialized by the influence of WOP DUBAI.

WOP DUBAI, INTERNATIONAL PERISHABLE EXPO MIDDLE EAST, is the Middle East's leading trade show for fresh produce. Its 9th edition is being held from December 5-7 at the Dubai World Trade Center and highlights the new trends and new technologies of the global Fresh Fruits & Vegetables industry.

The 2017 edition has a new segment: LOGISTICS and COLD CHAIN. This additional segment presents all the activities of the cold chain and should provide new opportunities for professionals.
