Medfel 2010 will also offer a global vision of the sector with a complete program of conferences and the announcement of the European forecasts of summer harvest of fruits.
The second edition of Medfel, which will take place from May 4th to 6th will propose a large program of conferences, including for the harvest expectations which will spread out on three days of the lounge: melon on Tuesday, apricot on Wednesday, peaches and nectarines on Thursday. Other fruit like plum will be the object of an intervention dedicated to the European offer of this product.
The business under all its forms is moreover at the honor. The Italian, Spanish and French specialized federations of retailers will present their vision of the Mediterranean convenience store. It will be the first public demonstration of the young European federation created on March 10th. One Agora dedicated to the management category will come to complete the interventions dedicated to the business.
The theme of the organic farming makes its entrance to Medfel. A panorama of organic fruits and vegetables in EuroMéditerranée will be presented.
Also, the shutter transport and logistics is more than present on this second edition. The sustainable development of the costs of the transport will be major theme of Medfel 2010.
FranceAgriMer, the French agricultural service, will reveal the objectives of its committee EuroMéditerranée.
Finally, the cooperatives of f&l Spanish, Italian and French will evoke the question of the place of fruit productions in the future reform of CAP(Common Agricultural Policy).
