Develop methods and structures that are economically efficient, socially equitable and ecologically sustainable.

The 6th GFFA (Global Forum for Food and Agriculture) will be held in Berlin.

The Global Forum for Food and Agriculture 2014 will take place from January 16 to 18, prior to the International Green Week (17-26 January).

With the theme "Strengthening Agriculture - the security of food supply" this Forum 2014 tackles one of the greatest challenges. The effects of the economic and financial crisis, the consequences of climate change, the global decline of lands available for agriculture weaken together the food security.

The objective of the Forum is to identify the measures to strengthen and develop an effective and sustainable agriculture.

The Forum will welcome on Saturday, January 18, the Summit of Ministers of Agriculture. This Summit will be the largest global meeting of ministers of agriculture .
