Fruit ration in "market basket" starts to grow in Russia

Analysts have recorded high ration of fruit and vegetables in “consumers’ basket” at the beginning of 2013 in Russia.

Wide choice of fruit and vegetables available in Russian inside market have brought only one of supermarket chains income of about 120 mln EURO. This kind of figures proves that people start to recognize the importance of healthy way of life.

The peak of consumers’ demand for fruit and vegetables has been recorded in January 2013 (14%). In April 2013 fruit and vegetables part in “consumers’ basket” has comprised 13%.
