Exports increase in volume and value

The classification of customers market changes a little with Germany at the top, followed by France , the UK and the Netherlands.

FEPEX has just published the results of Spanish exports of Fruits & Vegetables . Shipments to the European Union in January 2016 totaled 1,118 million euros (+ 4% ) to 1,237,820 tonnes ( + 3%).

EU markets account for 94.04 % of total exports , the customer No. 1 remains Germany, which has increased its demand by 9%. Other markets : France (-2%) , the UK ( + 10%) and the Netherlands ( + 14%).

Volumes remain low for destinations outside the EU: 8384 tons to Asia, 7408 tons to Africa and 13,296 tons to the Americas.
