Increase of + 60% for blueberry exports

The United States , the Netherlands and Hong Kong bought 86% of Peruvian blueberries exports.

Boom for blueberries exports which totaled up to $ 27.8 billion USD in 2014, an increase of + 60% compared to the previous year according to figures from CLex , the Centre for Foreign Trade .

The value has increased by + 60% and delivered volumes increased by 73% up to 2 600 tonnes .

The main market for exports : the United States imported $ 11.4 million USD or 41% of total Peruvian shipments. Other major destinations: the Netherlands, with USD 6.7 million or 24% , and Hong Kong with USD 5.9 million or 21% .
