Felix Instruments to host webinar on AI-powered avocado quality analysis
Registration for the webinar is open.
Felix Instruments will host a live webinar on 25 March 2026 exploring the latest developments in its avocado quality measurement technology, with a focus on how artificial intelligence and user feedback are helping improve dry matter analysis.
Scheduled for 9:00 AM PDT, the online session will introduce the next generation of the company’s avocado quality meter and the technological updates designed to make maturity testing both more accurate and easier to use in commercial settings.
The webinar will be led by Galen George, Director of Applied Science at Felix Instruments, who will explain how AI-based improvements and direct feedback from industry users have shaped the latest updates to the device.
According to the company, the new version of the avocado meter delivers improved accuracy when analysing fruit at different maturity stages. The updates also include adjustments to the system’s workflow and user interface, aimed at simplifying the measurement process for packhouses, quality control teams, and exporters working with avocado dry matter analysis.
During the session, participants will learn how the enhanced system performs across varying maturity levels, why certain workflow and interface changes were introduced, and what the improvements mean for both existing and new users of the Felix avocado meter.
The webinar will also include a live Q&A segment, allowing participants to discuss the technology and its practical applications directly with the development team.
Registration for the webinar is now open.
