International industry representatives will discuss the future of the apple sector at Interpoma.

The industry experts will gather in Interpoma 2010 for the traditional conference "The Apple in the world."

During these workshops, experts of international renown and industry representatives will discuss the future of the sector.

The main theme of the first working session (scheduled for today, November 4) will be the market and the geography of apples production, business opportunities in the Middle East and North Africa, and new sources such as the Caucasus, the territory of Don, Moldova and Ukraine.

The second day will focus on carbon footprint and energy balance of the apple industry. The objective is to create a platform of shared values among all stakeholders, and answer to consumer requests.
