New customs duties of 25% on many EU agricultural products

The tariffs are for imports from EU member states, the bulk of which is applied to imports from France, Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom, the four countries responsible for illegal subsidies .
WTO, the World Trade Organization, has authorized the United States to impose tariffs on European imports worth $7.5 billion. These new customs duties will come into effect on October 18.
A decision of the WTO, the World Trade Organization, authorized the United States to impose tariffs on European imports worth $ 7.5 billion, including certain agricultural products, in retaliation for European grants to the aerospace company Airbus.
These new customs duties come into effect from 18 October.
European agri-food products subject to an additional 25% import duty include wine, cheese, butter, yogurt, whey protein concentrates, raw table olives, olive oil, canned peaches, pears, cherries and fruit mix; oranges, tangerines, clementines and lemons, fresh and dried; prune, pear and cherry juice.
