The new Annexure 5 covers crop-protection products with CIB&RC label claims for grapes.
India’s Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) published an updated chemical reference for grape production on September 3 as part of its export-control documentation.
The document lists chemicals carrying label claims for use on grapes under India’s Central Insecticides Board and Registration Committee system. APEDA maintains the list within its Hortinet/GrapeNet resources for the grape export sector.
It sits alongside other controls used in the export chain, including the grape residue-monitoring plan, sampling procedures, recognised laboratory lists, test-report formats and procedures for exports of fresh table grapes to the European Union.
The September update gives growers and exporters a new reference point for checking crop-protection products as preparations begin for future export consignments.
