The flavors of fruits and vegetables of the fall are condensed by nature, to the delight of gourmets. Interfel (interprofessional association of all of the fruit and vegetable sector, from production to distribution) features four products:
- Beet: French fresh production (29 370 tons), availability: all year, high season: autumn - winter, consumption in 2012: 560 g per household.
- The wild mushrooms: French fresh production (23,400 tons), availability: year-round, high season: winter, consumption in 2012: 1.5 kg per household.
- Nuts: French fresh production (37 000 tons), availability: mi-september/october for fresh nuts, autumn / winter for dry nuts, high season: October to fresh nuts.
- Apple: French fresh production (1.7 million tons), availability: year-round, high season: from August to December consumption in 2012: 17 kg per household.
