Middle East Food Solutions Company appoints new VP Adil Benjelloun to accelerate growth in the food market.
MEFSCO (Middle East Food Solutions Company) is the Middle East's leading producer of corn-based sweeteners and food solutions, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, It announced the appointment of Moroccan-born Adil Benjelloun as vice president. With nearly eight years' experience at German multinational Döhler, he was sales director for the food division in the Gulf States, based in Dubai. He was later regional director for the Middle East at Spanish company Blendhub. Adil began his career in citrus exports with the Moroccan Delassus group. In particular, he developed markets in North America and the Middle East. Adil joins MEFSCO with a mission to accelerate its growth and diversify its B2B food solutions markets in the MENA region and Asia.

MEFSCO is a joint venture between Cargill, a US company and the world's leading producer of food ingredients and agro-industrial solutions, and Arasco, a major player in the Saudi Arabian food industry. The company is a leader in the Middle East in the production of glucose syrups, fructose, maltose, starch and other corn-derived products, supplying mainly the beverage and food industries in the Middle East, while also having a growing presence in Africa and Asia. In addition to these products, MEFSCO also produces gluten, fibers and proteins from corn, thus contributing to the innovation and diversification of food ingredients.
